Going on a stag night (wrong forum .. I know)
« on: August 23, 2007, 07:37:58 pm »
My daughters partner has invited me out tomorrow from 6:00 pm
On a Friday I finish at 2:30 and am normally bladdered by 6 anyway.
I do not want to be rude (& he does not drink much) as he will be falling over after 3 pints.
They get married in 8 days (I gotta do a speech!!! and I'll be wearing a suit!)
No way am I telling where!
So.... how can I stay sober and watch over him as the night wears on.. or I just let it flow and end up falling over myself?  Think I'll stay at work 'till 4 and have loads of bread & milk before ? might even have a blat in the 4 up till 6 so I can keep sober.
oh ho .. wish this was the only problem I had!!

Cheers guys. Starting at the Quarry and on to a casino in town later??????/
I've only ever drunk beer but if I do hit the shorts later on I tend to go on to cider after... I get to feel thirsty??? Odd isn't it!

In situations such as this, I find it best to 'pin your ears back, and go for broke'!!!

Look at it like this, if you drink him under the table, it'll be some small revenge for him boinking your wee girl. And you'll be able to extract the urine from him about it for years on top of years. ;-) On the other hand, if you fall over too, you can call it male bonding and go back to secretly hating him for boinking your wee girl.

It's all good.

Good night had by all. 3-9 was all I managed, thats 6 hours for the mathematically challenged. Trouble was that the groom did notshow untill 7:30. His new boss had 'lost' the wages!! Still ..no matter. Thanks for your indulgance over this.
Bazza....I do not want to think of it that way.. Nosh, Hope you have a goodun tonight.
I'm staying off the road today.. It'll take 24 hrs to get my alcohol stream back to it's normal blood level :)

Hi guys, glad you had a good 'un Jeff.

Nosh, for what it's worth, I lasted pretty well on mine til everyone had a whip round and bought me a pint of Aftershock. I was a little the worse for wear after that and had to be poured into the car(driven by a sober relative) and pushed upstairs into the flat, then fell asleep on my knees at the edge of the bed with my jeans round my ankles, Cee says I should've stayed in a hotel :-[

Sneaking in the occasional soft drink between rounds will help lighten the load ;) Enjoy bud
