Saw a tidy Silvia S12 on the road a couple nights ago and it brought back memorys of when I used to have one :) car was loads of fun.
What other cars from the 80's have you owned (apart from the celica) or would have liked to own?

have owned mk2 golf GTI 16v / 8v
both where loads of fun. not the fastest in the world but both ikonic cars of the times.

I had a 1982 Sunbeam Lotus before my 165.
Toyota ownership is a lot easier on the pocket, although they both seem to spend mor time being repaired rather than driving.
All part of the craic.

I had a 405 Mi16 which was actually quite cool, and a Capri 2.0 Laser :)
And I also had for a first car a 1981 Datsun Nissan sunny 3dr in lime green, was awesome, 1200cc and rear wheel drive ;D ;D ;D ;D

My mum used to have a sunbeam, came with the 1.3 engine but after a mild accident (roundabout, wet, barriers) we replaced the wings with fibreglass ones and the engine with a 1.6i - went like stink! Awesome.
Unfortunately the only other car I've owned is my pug 205, and I ALWAYS wanted a GTi - I may still buy a shell and convert it with 185 running gear if I dont go kit-car.

had a 90G MR2

54 Gen 7
and the current 'Four.

Ford Anglia 105E's were my favourite (1500 GT engine in, arches & 10" wheels!)
Had a Mini Cooper 997 too :) Couple of Triumph Spitfire MK1 & 11 and a convertible Vitesse straight 6.
