hi guys ok am wanting to sell my st185 1990 jap import.
i am wanting £1200 for it
it was advetised on a previous post for £750 when the clutch was goosed.
it now has a new clutch and drive shafts. engine is sweat no nocks or rattles and boosts as it should. i am selling it as i cant afford it any more as my job has moved and i use it daily it has a few more bits that needs doing to it to get it up to scratch.
it needs, passanger side track rod end to sort the tracking out as it is still out because the garrage couldnt buge that one. rear hub carrier bushes £20 each from JDM performance i beleve their is two per side but it is only one side that has gone. rear brake discs (provided). the rear spoiler has scratches on it.
the car is completly rust free as far as i can see mot til 19/01/2009 and 4 months tax. i have pics and will post them up 2morow as forgot to bring them to work. their car has been previously damaged on the front passangers side but was just panel dammage which was repaired.
if any one interested pm me or call on 07875364889

Alright fella
Seems like you are having a bit of trouble selling the old crate :-\
I'm not in the market for a car myself, but might suggest if you get no takers soon you stick it on ebay with loads of pictures (underneath etc) a good write up and a reserve of £850...I reckon it would likely be taken at that price?
I know it is a bit of a pita...but with a 10 day listing put up on a Thursday eve you get two full weekends for people to see the advert; and hopefully after 10 days the car is sold.
Anyway, good luck with the sale :)

It was on ebay the other wk and only got up to £620 ??? and i refuse to let it go for the price. its a crying shame because with a bit more minor work she will be a good one just havint got the time, money or desier any more to do it. av bought a deisel motor and am happy with that now. would like to sell the celica to some one rather than letting it sit and rot

I was in the same position a couple of years ago. Left the 4 on my drive, and got a run around to replace as a daily driver. Purely because noone wanted it at the time. Theres no market really other than for mint condition, cheap 4s. Breaking it would only take even longer to get rid of, let alone somewhere to store all the parts.
After 2 years i was in a better position to be able to address some of the issues, and now am back to using it as a daily drive.
I reckon try as Rhino has suggested, its always worth re-advertising after a couple of weeks anyway as there will be different people viewing. But if not, consider putting in storage for a while.
Hang on in there though, they are darn good motors, too good to let go for nothing.

couldnt agree more with you mate i might just keep her and store her away for a while. i love them to look at and to drive. gunna have to have a think if some one come up with £850 i would probably let her go but my limit is their at the mo. :-\

Slightly different market, I admit, but i put my Swift on Autotrader online last thursday and by sunday I had an 'asking price' offer. Typically, I had paid for 6 weeks as I'd had no joy anywhere else, HTH
