I dont have a link to it but I saw the original on TV (DAVE) the other night, they were showing the video recording system on the WRC cars, including the sound recordings from the pilot and co pilot and the engine "Effects" channels, one of which sounded distinctly like the knock sensor (if you have ever listened to the knock sensor output). It was clattering away like a mad thing, so bad that I'd be worried about smashing my engine to bits if it sounded like that. Am I being too gentle or are their engines invincible?!
-
Not being fully versed on the regs, are they limited to blocks as in F1? Wasn't Petter swapping all sorts around a couple of years ago, gearboxes and such?
-
yeah i think the rules have changed now that engines and gearboxes have to last i think 2 rallies, its all in trying to reduce costs for teams
-
Anyone know where to find clips of the program? I searched youtube but Dave TV and WRC return lots of hits that have nowt to do with it lol
-
is dave not showing repeats late at night
-
I saw it twice, neither time did i have the recorder ready - one at tea time and the next at about 4am. Maybe it will be on again.
-
Dave has more repeats than a cabbage and sprout vindaloo ;)
