Title: Bought me a new trolley jack

WooHoo...seen as any 165 is in the air more than on the ground I thought it was time to invest...

...got a 3 ton trolley jack from costco for only 60 quid :o

It has low entry at 89mm and lifts to 550mm...

...fookin marvelous for that money 8)

Weighs 40kg though...nearly broke my back putting it in the shopping trolley :D

Well if I could have picked one of those up for 60 quid I would have done :P :o ;D :D

Nice one Gaz, I too have invested in lifting hardware, I now own a 2 tonne engine hoist with load leveller!!!

It weights like 90kgs and is a bit big, but its red an shiney so I likes!

wish i had one now, doin exh manifold gasket replace, and replacing snapped off studs  >:(

Wot a mission, got all the stuff off now, just to drill out the 2 bust studs (was like that when i bought it, honest guv  ::))
and fit replacements.

Enough for today, gonna play some Ghost Recon AW  :)

I'm quite lucky in the way that my garage is soooooooooo big everybody just leaves there kit with me because they know the work is going to get done here anyhow ;D

I have a 2 tonne & 3 tonne trolley jack, 1 tonne engine crane, 500kg engine stand, 2 tonne axle stands and 3 tonne axle stands.

Nobody left a 2 poster lift yet though, I'm working on that one though :lol:

I guess any second hand equipment could have any/some catastophic failure of some kind ???

My second hand car however has NOT suffered brake failure yet ;)

And as for your garage Nick...you lucky lucky bar steward ;D
