Rarest wheels of the lot 17" OZ Roulettes
« on: April 28, 2007, 11:22:11 pm »
I have acquired 4 OZ Roulettes, they are 17", 5 stud, 100mm PCD, ET47.
They were on a Scooby (Scooby offset) but prior to that on a Carlos Sainz.

The paint is patchy, certainly not good enough for them to go on a car without a refurb.
One of the wheels is curbed but would be a straight forward job with the dremmel / sander.
If they went to Mysh they would be a doddle to sort out.

I fully intended to have Jerry refurb them and then decide whether to keep them or the Chronos but on the drive back from collecting them the pointlessness of having wheels and no suspension dawned on me.

I paid a good few quid for these, ask no questions and I will tell no lies.
Add to that a 500 mile round trip and over a tank of juice plus 8 hours of time.

I am looking for offers of over £400.

I know of only 3 other GT4s with these wheels hence why I travelled the length of the country for them.

I am half hoping that no one makes an offer then I have no option but to keep them

I took some photos on Sunday but the camera jack out is bolloxed so Ill have to find a way of getting them to the pc, I also had nowt to do so I stripped the worst down to metal and took all the curbing out then wet and dried it ready for refinishing.

If they arent sold by the time I sort my suspension out at Martins on Saturday and the bill isnt too huge I will keep them because they are as cool as fcuk

Yes...it's a little dooberry that plugs into your USB port and you then simply take your memory card out of your camera and slot it into the card reader...it's magic ;D
I think there only about 10 quid as well ;)

Nice one Dave.
How do I know if my card from the camera wil fit or is it a standard size?

As you will have established I dont do pc's or other advanced technology so digital cameras, external devices is lost on me.

Shame faced look on my ugly mug emoticon

I am doing my best to keep these Gary as I was actually regretting my usual act first think later approach.
If I can sort out my suspension problems without having to sell these I will.
Gaz and others will vouch to the effect that my plan is to keep them if I can as we were talking about them tonight at Squires.
I spent all day Sunday stripping the worst one back to metal and removing all the curbing and obviously I wouldnt do that if I was just looking to flog em on at a profit.
Sorry for sniping the auction, I am feeling a bit crap now I know you were bidding on them.

Stripped back and ready for the rim "welding"

Others all straight and unmarked other than paint needing stripping

Gaz, it doesnt look like these are the same as Silver flashes as I cant see from the photos where the cap sits, I'll look at them tomorrow
