JSP - Polyurethane Gear Linkage Bush Kit
Fits: GEN 6 & 5 Celicas (ST205, ST202, ST185 & ST182)**

Here we have our brand new JSP poly bush kit for the gear selector cables on the Celica range.

We have developed the bushes to be hard wearing for long term use for both street and track use.

The bushes are deisgned to give a much improved feel over the standard bushes while increasing the durability of the part, as the insert is nylon instead of soft brass like the standard part.

Our Poly Bush kit gives the positive feel of solid bushes while still giving your gearbox the safety of some movement in the bush helping prevent damage to the synchros occurring, effectively giving the best of both worlds.
On the end of the linkages on the Celica there is a rubber bush with a brass insert. After a while the brass insert wears and goes oval which makes the gear selection sloppy and generally loose. Our poly bush kit replaces the whole rubber and brass part. Our kit Gives a much more precise shift giving a much more confident change, ideal for anyone with a car with sloppy Gear Selection.

**Some models have different sized bushes (one bigger than the other) please make sure you check that both bushes are the same size on your car.

"I picked my set up this morning, they actually came yesterday but no one was in to sign for them so I had to go and pick them up.

I had 1 brass bush and 1 of the normal toyota bushes ( bit worn ), as soon as I picked these up from the post office I fitted them at the side of the road with just a screw driver needed for installation, that's how easy they are to fit

Anyway on my drive to work the gear change is very noticeably smoother, with the brass bush it always felt a little rough and sometime I would crunch into 3rd.

These are a great buy I would recommend them to anyone who needs replacement bushes. After fitting the brass ones myself due to there being no replacement's without getting new gear link cables before, I wouldn't fit the brass ones again, these are 100% no doubt a better solution and give an excellent feel to the gear change.
