Lots still around here, it must be the longest sub-zero spell for a long time. Brrr. The cooncil has run out od grit and are only sending the gritters out to give an impression of normality!

Our cars are awesome in the snow with snow tyres on. I've been up really steep hills, 3" of snow and no wheel spin at all. People look in amazement as they are pushing their cars and a little sports car just cruises by! Mind how you go with standard tyres as you wont stop any faster than a 2wd car.
Its the coldest winter i can remember for a long while.

We're getting it everyday and its getting to be a pain now  4mph on the A1 last night did it for me, oh and clearing my driveway everyday just so I can do it again tomorrow

There's a new road near here that is untreated and has a series of small roundabouts. Last night I was returning home and couldn't resist coming back that way... to my delight there was not another soul to be seen so I spent about 20 mins getting my FWD 'drift' on in the focus with the handbrake and some opp. lock. Excellent fun!

45 minutes to get out of my street this morning, another 1.5hours to go another mile down the road, by this time I said ballcocks to it and went home
Been shoveling snow all day in an effort to get off my driveway with out getting stuck (no 4WD on the Yaris )

Miserable gits moaning about it. Snow is great, in any quantity and for any duration, we don't see enough of it. I'm sick of the moaning sods that complain that their road isnt gritted. I go to find the ungritted roads just for the fun of driving on them, in a FWD! I'm getting snow envy, Glasgow is pretty much snowless now
