1992 cs
« on: July 27, 2009, 05:13:04 pm »
ok, im just guaging interest here

its a 1992 uk cs in grey. iv owned the car for 10years, i actually sold it to a friend but he just left it an never paid me for it so iv got it back and spent some dollar on it
145k on the clock. engine was replaced on 139k with a low milage(about 50k, arnt they all??) lump, it also has a faff head gasket.
rear diff was replaced on141k with 2nd hand faff diff.

and this is what i have just spent

standard faff clutch gen toyota
new ss brake and fuel lines to the rear, gen toyota
new front ball joints, gen toyota
new track rod ends, gen toyota
new front arb drop links, gen toyota
new ar bushes, gen toyota.
new ps rack gators, gen toyota
new exhaust flexi, gen toyota
new fuel filter, gen toyota
new rear hand brake ass, gen toyota

2x front hubs, 2nd hand
2x front drive shafts, 2nd hand
1991 st185 interior, velor trim in grey to match the car, 2nd hand
set of super turismo style 17" wheels with new 215 45 17 tyres
faff rad, 2nd hand
battery relocation to suit strate intake pipe (home made)

its by no means mint, the bonnet and bumper need repainting and some dumb f**k tried to smash the sunroof when it wasnt in my position, do its dented abit. requires a new sill, it has a small hole that i am going to weld for the mot but deserves a new1 really

also has black diamond front disks and 25mm rear spacers.

im not in any major rush to sell this, i have a faff that needs an engine and when there both repaired i can only keep 1, so i thought i would let someone else have the chance of owning a CS

steve

ps will get more pics on later, new pcz sending me over the edge, and am not very good on  tinterweb as it is :D
give em up as a bad job and bought an Audi! happy me

I nearly bought a CS in turquoise, until I visited it and found they'd polished the whole car with a brillo pad, driver was happy to test-drive it at max boost from cold and the suspension was shot to pieces over all the speedbumps where he lived. 3500 quid he wanted. I nearly laughed in his face.
