I was in the same position a couple of years ago. Left the 4 on my drive, and got a run around to replace as a daily driver. Purely because noone wanted it at the time. Theres no market really other than for mint condition, cheap 4s. Breaking it would only take even longer to get rid of, let alone somewhere to store all the parts.
After 2 years i was in a better position to be able to address some of the issues, and now am back to using it as a daily drive.
I reckon try as Rhino has suggested, its always worth re-advertising after a couple of weeks anyway as there will be different people viewing. But if not, consider putting in storage for a while.
Hang on in there though, they are darn good motors, too good to let go for nothing.
