Tein Coilovers + EDFC for 165/185***SOLD***
« on: March 25, 2008, 10:44:41 am »
Complete (as new) set of Tein Coilovers for ST185 (Super street kit). These also fit onto the ST165 (on my car at the mo)

Kit sells new for around £900 new + the EDFC controller set, which sells for around £300. This allows you to set the damping inside the car via an electronic control box.

What Fensport says

Tein Super Street coilover kit with upper mounts - Front mounts are fully adjustable
Front spring rate 224lbs/in, rear 168 lbs/in - alternative spring rates available - please ask.
Adjustable ride height via the spring seat, lowering range front from -14 to -65mm, rear from -9 to -60mm.
16 position damping force adjustment (compression and rebound are adjusted simultaneously)
Twin tube damper design for increased durability.
The damper is rebuildable for repair, overhaul or revalving in the UK.
This kit is compliant with the in car electronic damping controller EDFC (Which this comes with)

New, it cost almost £1200, Looking for £600 + Delivery for the lot, or you can collect it. I will be removing it from my car this weekend and the kit has only covered around 200 miles from new.

Selling becasue I need the car for a 40 mile a day commute now and I want my stock strut comfort back for the bumpy roads.

Thanks

Ooo, could be interested. Do you have to do anything to get these to fit to a st165? I thought there were differences between the two cars at the front?

Thanks,

Adam

They fit straight onto the 165 m8, no probs what so ever. You do however need to get the settings sorted becasue mine drove awful when I first put them on. The car turned corners itself....lol, I adjusted the camber plates and got it something like right.
I was going to get mine fully setup and corner weighted but plans have changed and I now need to car for work. So, out with the full race setup and back in with the soft standard jobbies....lol
I would recommend that if you do fit them onto a 165 though, you get the car fully setup buy a chassis expert. This will give you their true potential.
