Title: st205 tailored seat subframes
Post by: Redbeast on March 18, 2008, 04:22:30 pm
i have a pair of tailored cobra st205 seat sub frames.  would there be any interest in me getting some copies made up so you can mount your after-market seats?  these things are like £100-£150 new, if i could get some copies for considerably less would anyone like that?

i have a mate who does some fabrication and reckon he could knock a few copies out.  I will ask about price.... if anyone is interested.

the subframes bolt onto the uneven faff floorpan and simply provide a flat surface to mount your seat to.  if you want tilt and slide you have to buy extra bits, but most seats come with these for a few quid or you can buy universal ones.

in the mean time does anyone want the originals?  i bought them off lica a few months ago when he decided he didnt want the manky cheapo seats he bought any more!!  he modded one set of the holes (elongated them) so the seats he bought would fit, but otherwise they are as new.  still fit cobra seats no probs.
