right!!!
i dont want people to think that im breaking these cars for the hell of it, and the cash. the 185 is being used as a doner car to put a 185cs back on the road. the block cracked, and imo, it was better to use the car to put a ltd ed back on the road than throw aload of cash at a car that isnt worth the repair fee.
the st205 was my pride n joy. ive spent the best part of 7500, me life savings, on that car in the last year. im only a carer, uncle gordon doesnt pay much! and now am left with the situation that i cannot afford to fix it any more. it would be cheaper for me to buy another 205 than repair all the wrcs faults. i have a 185cs shell and bottom end. i prefer the carlos, always have, always will! so, i thought if i was going to build another car, it may as well be a car i like. the carlos. i can build a beast with what iv got, but i cannot afford to fix the wrc. it needs more than just a block. once iv finished with the shell, it will go on here for free, as will the 185 shell.

rant over

what front break set up is on the car? If you still have it?

I need a twin pot front caliper.

What are the boot struts like? I've tried two sets and it still collapses on me when I'm loading the shopping in :)

Hi mate,

What would you be looking for the unichipped ecu and have you also got the AFM to go with it?

How old is the suspension and how much for all 4?

Bonnet or bumper support bar? Had to be worth a try!

Cheers

John

Looking for an intercooler pump for my CS, mine's getting loud and seems to be drawing lots of current, think it's about to expire. Dove you have one?

your cs will have a chargecooler pump and i'm sure this is an ata being broke which has an intercooler which will be no help to you, sorry bud, yours could probably just do with a refurb with an auto electrician

from what i can remember, the disks are pretty much brand new. probably done 500 slow miles. i dont know if the jdm car has the same size disk as the uk car tho?

Later model jdm is the same as uk, only the early jdm's had the smaller discs.
Is collection possible? Pads changed at the same sort of time? :D

they were kid, and its possible 2 collect, however, i was under the impression that the jdm and uk had their brakes upgraded around 1992 to the same spec as the cs? which are slightyl bigger, again, i think? am probably wrong! ;D

not always my jdm 185 came with a 165 discs both front and rear and that car was 1990, you need disc sizes to confirm, from memory JDMs came with single pot calipers and UK's twin, correct there if i'm wrong, but there is def 2 different sizes for sure as i had 185 discs made up and they didn't fit and had to some home work and found out my car ran 165 discs

My '90 jdm definitely has the smaller brakes but the later spec '92 that the mrs runs appears to have the larger discs.
