Title: Im new
Post by: T-R-D NZ on September 25, 2010, 08:00:36 am
Hey EC

first thing, A big thanks to everyone who has taken time to answer my brain picking questions,

Ive been a huge st-205 fan for a long time, here in New Zealand were I live, there not so common!...But lucky enough ive managed to get my hands on one. It's 1996 GT-FOUR st-205 with 160,000km on the clock. near standard apart from the obvious alloys, big bore and pod filter etc. its had the clutch and suspension replaced, brakes overhauled and sun roof rebuilt.

Have had a Bit of trouble with my 205, Iv had even bigger trouble trying to find some body who knows there stuff about them(locally)
I think ive found the problem though, Ive stil got the standard B.O.V, and its leaking which hopefully is the reason ive lost some boost.

Any way cheers for reading,
Sam

Hi Sam and welcome to the club  :).  The stock bov has been known to leak or be blown apart if the boost has been raised from stock levels as they are only plastic and tend to get a bit weak with age.
