Title: G'Day
Post by: blu on September 16, 2009, 12:17:51 am
Hey everyone, i'm new to forums so you'l have to forgive me a bit i'm still learning how these things work. i'm from Sydney Australia and have always like celicas, my first car was an st184, spend alot of time and money on it and had alot of fun, over 6 six years my brother and i changed almost every nut and bolt on it and were competing in improved production events, but there is only so far an N.A. front wheel drive can take you... so i went the next logical step and bought a wrecked ex-rally st 185, just under a year and $12,000 (including the car) and i was off and racing, with a few minor mods i was able to squeeze 312bhp on 18psi but it didnt last long... hi-boast and no fuel took its toll on the the pistons blowing holes in piston 3 and 4. so here we are 8months later and $35000 later, i'm expecting 500+BHP the car has been set up for touge and should be alot of fun...

Hi Blu, welcome to the club. Sounds like ya 4 is another 'wonder from down under', lol, (please don't hate me)

I've got my sights on 500bhp also, just need to get my self in to gear and get it mapped and see what needs doing. As Calam asks, pics/spec when you have time ;)

Cheers
