Pending a rear shot, I probably would buy one of those. Which is impressive for a modern car. Its a little bit peugeot-esque though?

Suspect it may enter the market at similar prices to the original GT4 - which rules out most of the EC crowd I suspect!

Telling me I'm wrong? Go on, poll the forum and see whether any more than 25% of the forum could actually afford to buy a ~50K car (bearing in mind the original price of the GT4 was somewhere around 38K IIRC back in the day). One or two im sure, but MOST couldnt ;)

Actually only 4 people have replied, and only two stated they'd buy one, and I wasnt considering the financial side when I made the judgement (as I suspect most readers wouldnt either)!  Hardly a statistical representation of the club as a whole though is it, 4 replies (and an OP). Generalisations are not always wrong, and by no means suggest that some individual members are incapable of buying one!

It doesn't look anything special so I wouldn't spend 50k on one.

and for the poll I don't have 50k :-[

where the hell are you's getting 50k from....... its going to be no where near that and you's know it, subaru, mitsubishi and any other 4wd cars in the same league don't come near that price and a faff wrc back in the day was 32k not 38k. It'll be reasonably priced to compete with the evo's and the like. Also Toyota will want to get the name back for themselves as a performance car manufacturer after being away for so long. The most expensive evo was the evo 8 fq400 at 47k and that was the 405bhp flagship car. And the new Evo 10 fq400 is expected to be 45k. So toyota will have to price accordingly.
