Need a bit of help
« on: May 01, 2008, 02:51:43 pm »
Does anybody know of a good location for a GT4EC meet east of Birmingham ? I`m talking North of the M40 and east of the M42.Anywhere around Coventry,Rugby,Nuneaton,Hinkley area.Even Tamworth area would be ok,but not much further North.
We need a good pub in an area where the wheels will still be on the cars after we come out ;D
Any suggestions would be a great help.Somebody must live in the described triangle ? ???

I think I'll write a local pub guide.... after I have tried them all...plenty of time eh?
Previously a UK WRC ST205 & a CS (UK !*%)
Now.... a 1970 Triumph 13/60 convertible, a Hyindai Amica and a Honda CR-Z Hybrid :)

If you want to do something a bit different in that area there is a huge car park at the National Heritage motor museum at Gaydon, just near the JAG plant. Would do a good discount for the club me-thinks and it's well worth a day out! Had a corking dinner in a local pub last time I went , but can't remember the name, sorry.
