Hey all

Just got back from the Jap Show at Santa Pod,

Come across a few fellow gt4`s, some stunning, others ready for the knackers yard.

On the way to santa pod I discovered a white gt4 st185, with the standard bonnet, a carlos sainz bumper & some hidious decals over all it. Poor gt4.

Was that you, if it was... I was the blonde woman that over took you and your mate in the toyota supra, I know you didnt have much chance of racing back as your mate done it for you, but still couldnt catch me. He was over boosting his turbo far too much and not getting anywhere lol. In the end you both got stuck behind a Vauxhall Corsa lol so what does that tell you ??

At the show.

After gaining entry, I went to watch some good & poor quality cars race down the 1/4 of a mile stretch. To my shock I saw a Red carlos sainz st185 coming forward to the starting line. I expected it to go like a rocket, but to my disbelieve it went like my nans granny cart, 68mph - if that was you mate give it up, cos showing what your car can do really isnt your thing.

Next was a White st205 if that was you then far play, it took you at least 4 attempts to get the the 98mph mark but least it was nice to watch.

I really think if you have a gt4 and cant drive it, then dont have it.

Lol im awaiting many replies if they dare. If my car was as rough as theres I wouldnt bother taking it. It was an embarrasment to fine japanese cars.

I have 3 gt4s in total, an ST205, And 2 ST185s, One of the st185s is having a major respray at the mo and im undecided to keep her when shes finished as shes a wide bodied beast on a k plate with low miles.

Yeah had a fantastic day, really surprised how many nuggets were on the track but all in all they have to show how good or not so good there cars are.

Nah I never rwyb my baby, shes worth too much and has had too much spend & is completly standard just the way I like my cars, only thing different to my st205 is its got vvti alloys, roof spoiler, steering wheel, double din unit & back box. She already come with the spoiler blocks when I brought her. Was ace to leave those two standing though, no good over boosting when all u seem to do is lose power lol.

Anyone who went & reads this will understand why I posted the above

i was shocked at how many people cant even stage let alone drive. it was comical how many people had to reverse back up to stage, although no one managed to stage with their rear wheels this time (yes i have seen it done!!!)
still terry grant must have been embarrassed when he stalled his evo during his show LOL

LOL  Grin

Obviously you didnt see this white st185 with hidious decals all over it

If it was mine, I would of been ashamed to show it off the way he did.

It needed a new wing, door, rear lights and much more including a new driver.

The stupid thing about it was he had his son in the front passenger seat the way he was driving it on the way in was perfectic. A first class K**b

Dont think ive stopped laughing yet from todays performaces from all cars ive seen, the most impressive was the bikes.

I had someone try and undertake me the other day on the motorway, when he pulled by the side of me he looked over realised it was a woman driving and stuck his thumb up.

Just ordered a new tax disc after the SORN, so shall be in for some 'spirited driving' before it goes to Uncle Ian. Woe betide any boxster, scoob, evo, donkey, or chav who tries to spoil what will probably be my only drive in my 4 for another 2 months Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
