Not much of a looker but turbocharged, 4wd and 50 mpg. They recon petrol will go up about 20p a litre this year and with wage rises being sod all we may need to start looking for 40 mpg+ cars.

I'd like to have a test drive. I bet it could be one of the quickest city cars around. The name is a bit of a mouthful when people ask what it is or you are ringing for insurance quotes ie daihatsu curo avanzato mira

Thats cute!!! It's correct name seems to be spelt "daihatsu cuore (TRxx)avanzato R4 ( mira) " BTW and there are only 80 UK imports I read. I'd swap for my Kia...

Hehe could be fun, 0-60 in 8.5 seconds toping out around 100. But not for me, done my time in small cars that have negligible crumple zones thanks!

I was the crumple zone in my pug 205 when the engine made a dash for the passenger compartment, that was enough to convince me that long bonnets are the way forward! One of these next for me I think!

Nice, but I would say you're more likely to leave the road side-ways in a corvette... in which case you might need SIPS instead of a huuuuge bonnet to save you!

Maybe you could use the 'magic sponge' effect and create a safe zone around whatever car you drive? That way, whatever you may have hit will be absorbed by the sponge. Of course, the sponge will be invisible so as not to spoil the look of your car Here's one I fitted to mine: As you can see, it doesn't spoil the appearance at all and it came with a remote to remove the 'cloaking' effect so you can see where to unzip it and get in/out. Cheers
