i have 215,45,18's rubber band tyres lol, the outsides on the front 2 havent went twice within the last yr, but saying that the car is lowered and i know new top mounts would sort the problem out, have had 4x4 aligment and wheel balanced, the second set arent wearing this bad this time i run 32psi in all four

Phil, you run 225 45s? Theyre cheaper? They're a fair way off standard size though?

yeah, i surpised at that aswell. decided to go a little wider, caught my rims a couple of times reverse parking, i dont even know ive hit the curb until i hear rim, no protection from the cerb kicker, so a bit wider should give me warning.
