Hi all
was on here for a bit a while back
got a red ST165 with all the usual problems

been away for a while because main oil feed to turbo split and she emptied all her oil and wrecked the turbo. giving me the right hump with gt4's for a good 6 months

anyway thankfully after throwing a few £££ at her ive got a bit of my enthusiasm back
up and running again with all new pipes all new gaskets and STANDARD boost (ooops) Tongue

Glad to see you back mate. Standard boost is better than no boost tho? Got pics to put up?

Cheers

heres an old pic of the old girl when i first got her
the rain really helped the paintwork look good lol
technically not a lot has changed but mechanically ive done quite a lot of maintanance

had turbo off 3 times
changed comple front ns driveshaft complete with cvs
changed oil and coolant
changed gearbox fluid
changed dizzy n rotor arm
fixed numerous pipes and wires
changed gaskets and manifold studs
had manifold rewelded + cleaned all surfaces of mani, dp, turbo etc etc

only non standard thing on her now is a 3 inch straght through exhaust with high flow cat
but tbh im not sure it does her any favours. seems to lack torque
ps it ws already on when i bought it. i think its a bit of a monstrosity

no sunroof to rot away Smiley
Looks nice and tidy example, always had a soft spot for the 165s.
Not quite as bad as the obsession with 185s but close Wink

lol no it has a sunroof an it is rotting away.
i think its just the angle of the picture makes it look otherwise

infact i think the angle of the picture does lots of things
shortly i will post up some pictures that show the truth lol
