Hello all, I have purchased a fairly clean st165 but she has a few niggles the most important being the steering it seems to wander about the road and I' having to correct it all the time, are all 165 like this?
also the abs pump is kicking in every now and then but i'm sure its just a sensor, and lastly my engine seems to take about 20 mins of driving to warm up I guess this is the thermostat.

Anyway just wanted to say hi.

I live in Maldon in Essex, I was going to buy another st202 as I loved the last one I had but I noticed this on Celica Club and liked the look of it went to view and fell in love with it, we will see how long that loves lasts!
I had an St202 then MR2 Tubby which was a bit of a dog, then bought a 1966 Hilclimb sprint Midget which I still have but am so bored of fixing it! so she has got to go but saying that I have never had so many nice comments and approval for a car before, you can drive around a roundabout sideways and people still don't look cross!

 Cool Cool Cool

There always seems to be work to do on 165's but most of mine has just been tinkering so far on this one.
Nothing major wrong with it.
My first 165 was a different story however...always something bloody wrong with it LOL

Hi mate, welcome to the club. That's a very nice example of a 165 there, good to hear that it only has minor niggles to be dealt with Wink

Cheers
