HI guys, I'm from Prince George, BC, Canada.  I'm new to the GT4 and turbo cars in general but not celica's, I've owned a 4th gen gts for some years now and have always wanted a 6th gen gt4....I finally found a black one a month or so ago that had already been imported (poorly inspected might I add) and I took the plunge...after many days or paperwork and shipping and permits and just plain waiting I finally got it home, since I picked it up from Alberta and I'm in BC I had to get an out-of-province inspection before I could register it, well I figured it was a no-brainer since it just passed the import inspection a few months back in Calgary.

I failed my oop inspection because my low-beam headlights weren't DOT/ASA approved...a real *BLEEP*off.  So I've been dicking around forum surfing for a week trying to track down some american headlights, I finally found some and they are currently in transit.....except I had only two weeks to comply with my inspection before I would have to pay for a new one...it expires on tuesday...my headlights shipped out today.  I'm going in tomorrow to try and sweet talk the shop, they know me pretty well there so they should let it slide for a week.

Long story short...I've driven the car all of 5 minutes, and it has been sitting in the shop at my work for almost 3 weeks now, I've had nothing to do except vacuum, detail the engine bay, and repaint the hood vent cuz it was all peeled away and looked like crap.  It's killing me just looking at it every day

Here are some pics

Those are brand new blizzaks on there so I promptly sold them seeing as it won't be a winter car....I picked up some 7th gen gts rims to fill the void but am waiting for them to arrive to see if they will even fit without spacers.....hurry up and wait eh.

Nice car and a WRC version.
You should have kept the snow tires. I had great fun with mine last years in the snow.

no the rims from the gts edition were quite nice looking 16" 5 spoke...with a shiny toyota logo in the center, 6.5" wide, et38 I believe....still I'll probably space them if not to clear the monster calipers then to make them sit flush with the fenders

I am waiting for them still so I haven't actually had a chance to try them on for size but I figure they'll look real sharp, I think the rims on the car right now are butt ugly....and mine are really dirty looking and the finish is chipped all around the center caps.

I found a pic of the new wheels
