I've finally sorted the login problems out, so time to say hi and post a bunch of pics I guess? Some of you may know me from other 'Four related forums. If not; I'm René, MY1984.7, Dutch, ST185 CS (the best model Wink )driver/nutter and I have a high end Jap parts fetish.

More importantly, this is what I drive:

^ 1992.2 Carlos Sainz, 2433•5000, originally sold in Germany.

And this is how I bought it September 2005 - 100% stock with 123,121 kms on the clock:

I got the signed certificate with it, brand new factory donut, cassette player, etc. Since only 10 have been sold over here originally it took me roughly two years to find a good one I liked (You may remember requests on the OC forum about RC's at the time). Since then I installed some aftermarket parts. Smiley  My goal is to make it lighter, stiffer, faster and overall better with high end Japanses parts only (if possible). Current spec. list:

Engine
• A'PEXi Power Intake
• Aussie Exhaust 3" HPC downpipe
• Cusco Oil catch tank
• Custom straight air intake
• EGR block-off set
• Golpher 40mm alu radiator
• HKS D1 Limited Edition oil cap
• HKS D1 Limited Edition radiator cap
• HKS New EVC boostcontroller
• HKS Fancontroller
• HKS M35i sparkplugs
• HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust
• HKS SSQV blow-off valve
• HKS Type-1 turbotimer
• Kics Project Magnetic drain bolt
• Samco hoses (blue)
• SARD Sports MAG+ oil filter
• T-VSV disconnection
• Ultra BP silicone power plug wires

Transmission
• Ogura 409D-03T racing clutch
• Ogura lightweight flywheel

Chassis & suspension
• C-One Sports Diff. cushion
• C-One Sports Rear stabilzer bar
• C-One Sports Rear tower bar Type:S
• C-One Sports Trunk bar Type:S
• Cusco Lower arm bar type II
• Jspeed front strutbrace
• TEIN SuperStreet coilovers
• TEIN EDFC damping force controller

Brakes
Front
• AP Racing CP5570 6 pot calipers
• AP Racing 330x32mm discs and bells
• Ferodo DS2500 pads
Rear
• Sumitomo ST205 2 pot calipers
• Toyota ST205 315x16mm discs
• Endless SuperStreet M-Sports pads

• Goodridge braided SS brakelines
• AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1 fluid

Interior
• HKS DB Meter I/F unit
• HKS DB Meter RS Boost
• HKS DB Meter RS Exhaust temp.
• Rear seats removal
• SARD Battery shift case
• SARD Carbon STACK meter panel
• STACK ST8130 display
• TRD Duracon shiftknob

Exterior
• Meguiar'd
• PIAA Super white LED parking lights
• Pilot 8000K H4 bi-xenon

Wheels & tires
• RAYS Engineering Volk Racing TE37 (17x8.0+35)
• RAYS Engineering Duralumin lugnuts
• Toyo Proxes T1-R (225/45ZR17)

More pics of the car and modifications:

^ Previous wheels; RAYS Engineering Gram Lights 57S

I couldn't find brakes with the specs I was after, so I decided to ask AP Racing about custom sets. After loads of e-mails and sending OEM parts to the AP Racing headquarters in Coventry, they developed a whole new kit for my car - I'm proud to say my car features the world's first ever AP Racing Formula big brake kit for the ST185  Cool

^ Again previous wheels (I only mounted the TE37's last Saturday!  Wink )

^ Again, previous wheels - which were Scooby offset. Currently it looks really fat/bad ass!  Cheesy

^ That's what I'm talking about!  Cheesy

I had it on the rollers in stock form (HKS SSQV blow-off valve, Ogura 409D-03T clutch & flywheel being the only mods at the time) and it put down 180.9 awhp @ 5598 RPM, so keeping in mind that was on a quite 'negative' SuperFlow dynamometer I guess I've got a good 'un!

^ Will do another few runs soon I hope  Smiley

Project 'SOB to install':

Phew! Think that covers it so far..  Smiley

In a few weeks time I should receive my ACPT (Not JDM, but they supply TRUST and HKS so that's cool  Grin )carbon fiber prop shaft.

Future mods I'd like to get are a Nardi deep corn steering wheel on a Works Bell snap-off system, Bride Stradia seats with Takata harnesses, Cusco cage and one day there wíll be a forged engine with big (GT3071 ish?) turbo and supporting mods..

More pics and info are on my website; Turbocelica.nl

I think that's it, let me know what you think please!  Smiley

Thanks for the nice comments people!

@ Gary; Don't worry. I hate your car too!  Grin (And I'll e-mail you that OZ wheel page from Hyper Rev btw, you asked about it a long time ago but I never came round sending it  Embarrassed )

@ ChrisW; Yes I will bring the CS over to the UK for the JAE again. Cheesy I had a GREAT time last year despite the rain! It's nice to put names to faces and I hope I can meet some of you guys during JAE.

Here are my pics of last year's event: http://www.turbocelica.nl/jae07.htm
