was so worth finding and doing its got such a retro drive about it
you actually feel like your driving it and not just sat in the drivers
seat being taken for a drive.ive had all 3 fours and the 165 ticks
all the right boxes for what i wanted. right think i,m going to go

atm shes stock exhaust and wheels only got an engine thats going to be forged over winter with faff internals rods and crank.and a hybrid just waiting to go on then injecters and hydra.faff gearbox and diff to finish off
then hopefully about 320 ponies Smiley

thanks for the comments these are getting so rare in good condition Smiley

and asw if i get mine looking as good as yours when shes finished i,ll be a happy man Smiley

Brill....so good to see people driving and looking after 165's still....

I had a look around not too long ago and couldn't find a single 165 for sale. These cars a re sooooo rare now becasue people didn't look after them (and most were rot boxes)

Noticed yours has a few import mods? JDM rear lights and the front fogs  Wink

PS, just like to agree 100% with you when you say the 165 is the best. I've driven many many 4's over the years, 205 - 185 and of course 165. The 165 is a little underpowered but with the right power and better brakes is deffo the best out of the three by a country mile  Cheesy Wink lower weight than the others and the best chassis  Wink

totally agree wiggy the jap bits(rear lights are now uk again) came from mad gaz,s old 1
i had 3 165s to find a good 1 but shes a cracker sills and arches are mint behind the kit just rack arms to buy and fit then the brake uopgrade to do and she,ll be perfect to drive obviously a bit underpowered but that will come in the near future.going all faff now engine box diff etc just looking for a smashed 1 on the cheap  Smiley Smiley
this is my 8th gt4 while the faff is a good car its not quite what i wanted but the 165 was.just taking the best bits off the faff to put onto the best gt4 Smiley
funnily enough ive used no 185 bits Grin Grin Grin
