Toyota Celica GT-Four st165 For Sale
[/B][/U]

I have owned this great example of the ST165 for 8 months and have used it as my second car. I knew the former keeper who as far as I know owned the car for 9 years, it was garaged for all this time.

The car has covered 69k Miles from new which is reflected in the condition of the car and I am the 4th registered owner.

The paintwork is in very good bright condition, as you would expect, being garaged most of the time.
The sunroof has signs of a few bubbles coming on the front edge which if sorted now should ensure it remains looking as good as the rest of the car!

I had the clutch replaced shortly after purchasing the car with an Exedy clutch, which is actually lighter than the stock clutch!
The gearbox operates with NO crunch’s changing up or down, a common fault on the ST165 and ST185 gearboxes.

The car even has the original Toyota stereo radio cassette with a quiet, working electric aerial.

All electrics work including central locking, windows, mirrors, tilt and slide sunroof, Air conditioning and drivers lumbar and bolster support (Electric)
Driver’s side electric window switch is original, complete and in perfect working condition, (these can break after so many years of use).

I have carried out very minor modifications to improve on a few areas, which I feel are a weakness on the ST165 and hopefully to, improve the car without compromising serviceability and reliability.

The later spec lower front grill has been fitted to allow for greater airflow through the front of the car. All under trays are present along with under bonnet insulation.

I have fitted a gutted cat and a K&N panel filter to aid with turbo response and engine breathing, original cat available if required.
An ST185 Engine mount has been professionally machined and fitted to the car to add strength to the cylinder head and associated area, incl the strut brace under the bonnet.

Rear White line suspension bushes have been fitted to the rear control arms in place of worn items.

UK spec larger ST185 brakes have been fitted to the front, which improves braking action dramatically.

The car comes complete with two sets of keys, original tool kit and jack and the ‘original fit’ GT-Four alloys if you wish. There is a LOT of history including receipts for the car.
