Hi not been on here for a long time  Embarrassed and now trying to sell the celica :'(

So good points-

imported 2003 and is virtually rust free underneath, very solid.
Showing 93,500 miles
Clean grey cloth interior with no rips or burns.
Full mongoose exhaust and aussie downpipe
UK spec single pot front brakes, recent discks and pads all round
Whiteline adjustable ARB
Fully polybushed
Recent kyb shocks
17" OZ super tourismo's with toyo proxies
CS bumper and ally bar
all diff/gearbox oils done at last service
Recent new radiator
Momo steering wheel
Relief valve

Bad points-

NO tax or mot (currently sorned) and been sat in the garden since october '06
Paintwork not brilliant, quite a few small marks on it and the paint is very dull which I think is down to a poor quality respray which has been attacked by cement dust from work. It cleans up and looks ok from a distance but lacks shine. The o/s wheels are scuffed up pretty bad after a trip into the gravel at donington

And the biggy, Last time out the motor blew at Donington. It has little or no compression across the cylinders, has chucked most of the oil into the exhaust and will not fire up. It didn't overheat which suggests something fairly major has let go - I think it's got to be more than the headgasket but until someone strips it down the damage won't be known. No oil in the intercooler suggests turbo is ok

Would make a superb track car with a well built engine.
I'd like to see £600 for the car, it's worth more in bits but it's too good to break and I don't have the time or place to pull it apart so I am open to sensible offers as it's just taking up space

I am based in Rugby, warks. Will need trailering away and if the buyer covers the cost of trailer hire and diesel I could deliver within a reasonable distance by mutual arrangement.

If interested please email direct steve.hartup@btinternet.com

Paul if you can get it to a port you can get it booked on a ferry to here as an 'unaccompanied vehicle' which is about £100. give me a call if you want more details as i'm about to do this myself...

yeah getting a hol of this guy is serious...... i've a 185 with a frontal knock and would be cheaper doing a transplant than fixing the other...... so if anyone can get a hold of him it would be prefect
